How do you get a home that feels homely and personal?
Elin Lervik and Katarina Matsson have identified seven building blocks - old things, art, books, textiles, lighting, plants and pets - which together and individually lay the foundation for a cosy, creative and lively home. An interior design philosophy that looks past trends, prejudices and prohibitions. They explore why homeliness is so important to our well-being, and how we can decorate to create a place where people feel comfortable. Because regardless of whether you are interested in design with many homes behind you or are about to decorate your first home, it is sometimes difficult to know where to start.
